Although we understand that things happen and schedules do change, we ask that you provide us with a minimum of 24 hours notice should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. With adequate notice we are able to offer the slot to other patients who are in need of our care.
We do offer a free of charge text and email reminder service prior to your appointment. If you would like to arrange this then please ask our reception team who will be happy to set this up for you.
It is ultimately your responsibility to note and attend the time of your appointment.
If you fail to provide the required notice or do not show up for your appointment, a cancellation fee will be charged. The fee will be based on the length of the appointment and the practice's running costs.
This fee is to compensate for the time and resources that were allocated for the appointment and will need to be paid before scheduling another appointment.
In the interest of fairness, this policy is extended across our entire patient base so no one person is discriminated against another.
We understand that life does not always run smoothly and genuine issues occur. We do apply common sense to all our policies, but please respect us so that we can be fair to everyone.
Any abuse to staff members will not be tolerated!
